Welcome to Georgia & Francesca's Hand-madeSolar Soap CompanyHi. My name is Georgia, and together with my sister Francesca, we run the Solar Soap Company. We create handmade soaps. Actually, Francesca isn't able to help much, but she will when she's a little older.
The Solar Soap Company produces high quality hand-made soaps from natural ingredients. If you are vegetarian, you can buy our soaps with a clean conscience. We are very much against animal cruelty, so none of the components of our soaps are tested on animals, and our soap bases are of vegetable origin (unlike most commercial soaps which are made from 'tallow' - the fatty tissue obtained from slaughter houses) - personally I'd rather use a vegetable-origin soap!
We also try to reduce our carbon footprint by using solar energy to produce our soap. We will be posting details and pictures of our solar soap-manufacturing system in the near future - stay tuned!!
